Project Team Leader Information

His Healing Hands has an ongoing and growing need for trained Project Team Leaders.  Team leaders are the glue that makes our teams a success. The professional medical staff are responsible for the effective treatment of the patients that come to our clinics, but it is the Project Team Leader that coordinates all of the logistics behind the scenes that makes the clinic possible and run smoothly.  

HHH Project headquarters staff will recruit the teams, coordinate the pre-project planning, book the flights, prepare the project budgets, collect the funds, and communicate with the host ministry in preparation for the teams departure.

Coordinator and Communicator

In general, the Project Team Leader takes over from the headquarters staff about 30 days before the team is to depart and coordinates the departure and arrival of the team at the destination, coordinates the project plan and budget with the host ministry, disburses the funds as needed, and oversees the location and logistics of each clinic site. After returning home the Project Team Leader is responsible for briefing the headquarters staff, reconciling project expenses against the budget and closing out the project. All in all, this means that the Project Team Leader will be committed to be closely involved with the project for a period of 60- 90 days.

The following characteristics are important for all Project Team Leaders:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to be detail oriented.
• User proficiency with MS Word, Excel,  and the Internet
• Strong written and oral skills
• An enthusiastic team worker.
• A willingness to learn.

We can use anyone who has these characteristics and is willing to assist us in achieving our primary purpose which is to make Jesus known to the ends of the earth.

The information helps us prepare our team leaders to provide a safe and interesting experience for you. Print a copy of it for your records before submitting.
